Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been documenting the stories and experiences of Ontario’s healthcare workers and the injustices they have faced from the Ontario government and for-profit healthcare employers.

“They Called Us Heroes” is a 60-minute documentary releasing in Fall 2022 that gives these workers a platform to share their struggles – short staffing, low wages, isolation from their families, unimaginable loss, burnout, and so much more.
